Kyrgyz President Kurmanbek Bakiyev fled the country following the violent clashes between local police and anti-government protesters. The unknown men seized the presidential palace and burnt it, Kabar agency reports.
According to some information, the President Bakiyev took a small plane. Earlier, it was reported that the president accompanied by Kyrgyz Defense Minister is in the southern presidential residence Osh.
According to recent data, mass protests claimed 47 lives and wounded 100 others in Kyrgyz capital Bishkek. Kyrgyz authorities closed the border with Kazakhstan at the request of Kazakh side.
