YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Ambassador to San Marino, Sargis Ghazaryan, presented his credentials to Captains Regent Gian Carlo Capicchioni and Anna Maria Muccioli.
Congratulating the ambassador on his appointment, the Captains Regent of San Marino expressed their happiness concerning the appointment of Armenia’s first-ever ambassador to San Marino, informs the Armenian MFA press service. They expressed a conviction that this appointment will greatly contribute to the development of relations between the two countries, and Armenia’s ambassador will have an important contribution to the strengthening of ties between Armenia and San Marino.
In turn, Ambassador Ghazaryan noted that Armenia underscores the development of cooperation with Armenia and he, as an ambassador, will spare no effort to the development of relations between the two states.
Next, the interlocutors stressed the importance of bilateral mutual visits to raise collaboration between the two countries to a qualitatively new level.
Sargis Ghazaryan, Gian Carlo Capicchioni, and Anna Maria Muccioli also reflected on the history of the two countries. In this context, they considered symbolic the fact that Armenia adopted Christianity as a state religion while San Marino was founded in the year 301.
