YEREVAN. – We are pleased that our relations with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) are deepening.
Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan noted the aforementioned Tuesday during his talk with Director General Klaus Gerhaeusser of the ADB Central and West Asia Department.
In the PM’s words, the Government of Armenia stands ready to continue the cooperation by way of implementing joint projects.
For his part, Gerhaeusser likewise expressed satisfaction with ADB’s cooperation with Armenia. He noted that the ADB invested $750 million in Armenia in the last six to seven years.
It was informed that, at present, the ADB is discussing with the Armenian government the partnership strategy for the next five years.
Klaus Gerhaeusser added that the ADB stands ready to also provide technical support to Armenia.
Subsequently, the interlocutors spoke about the course of the construction of Armenia’s North-South Highway, possible cooperation in agriculture, and several other matters.
