The decision on deployment of Iskander missiles in Kaliningrad region has not been made, Russian President said.

Vladimir Putin noted that Iskander missiles are not the only defensive option and not the only response of Russia to emerging threats.

“Iskander is but one of defense options, and not the most efficient one, despite being the world's best weapon of its kind,” the Voice of Russia quotes Putin.

The deployment of Isknader missiles he said is a logical response to US plans to build a defense shield in Europe, RT quotes Putin.
