YEREVAN. - The American national currency’s exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 405.35/$1 in Armenia on Thursday.

The aforementioned rate is an AMD 0.10 rise from Wednesday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 554.48 (down by AMD 2.74), that of one Russian ruble was AMD 12.32 (up by AMD 0.03), and the rate of one British pound was 663.88 (up by AMD 0.97), informs the Central Bank of Armenia.

One gram of gold, silver and platinum amounted to AMD 16,036.25 (down by AMD 12.33), AMD 259.86 (down by AMD 0.98) and AMD 17,645.74 (up by AMD 4.35), respectively.

The dollar’s average exchange rate comprised AMD 405.5/$1 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange; this is an AMD 0.1, or a 0.04-percent, drop from Wednesday’s trading session.

At the cash foreign currency market of Armenia, the US dollar is bought at an average of AMD 404/$1 and it is sold at AMD 407/$1.
