Armenian public attention to ECtHR has increased – Chamber of Advocates

YEREVAN. – The public attention to the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) has significantly increased in recent years in Armenia.

Ara Zohrabyan, Head of the Chamber of Advocates of Armenia, stated the above-said Thursday during the presentation of the final results of a human rights program in Armenia.   

“Even the retirement-age citizens [in Armenia] threaten to solve their domestic disputes through the European Court,” Zohrabyan noted.    

In turn, Ambassador Andrey Sorokin, Head of the OSCE Office in Yerevan, likewise gave a high assessment to this program.
