After the meeting with Slovenian Foreign Minister Samuel Zbogar Turkish FM told journalists that the situation of Kyrgyzstan and recent developments in Armenia-Azerbaijan relations were in focus.

Davutoglu emphasized that monitors closely the situation in Kyrgyzstan. “Kyrgyzstan is a fraternal and important state for us. For the establishment of peace and stability in the Kyrgyzstan, Turkey has to do its utmost. For the provision of our citizens and companies’ security we will use best efforts as well,” Turkish Zaman quotes Davutoglu.

Referring to normalization of relations with Armenia, he underlined that efforts in this direction continue. Turkish FM recalled that these days his Deputy Undersecretary Feridun Sinirlioglu was on a visit to Yerevan.

In the course of Turkish FM Ahmed Davutoglu’s phone conversation with his Azerbaijani counterpart Elmar Mammadyarov he told of Sinirlioglu’s impressions from Yerevan visit. The forthcoming Sargsyan-Erdogan meeting to be held in Washington was in limelight. He also added that in the course of Erdogan-Sarkozy meeting Karabakh peace process was touched upon as well.
