YEREVAN. – Decorating a Christmas tree has always been one of the great joys of the holiday, but when it happens in the UK Embassy together with Ambassador it is more fascinating (photo).

This year the embassy’s Christmas tree was decorated by UK Ambassador and the students of AYB high school, “Quantum” college and Mkhitar Sebastatsi educational complex.  

Before decorating Christmas tree, Ambassador Jonathan Aves told how he usually celebrates Christmas and what traditions his family has.

The schoolchildren told about Armenian traditions. The meeting was a good opportunity to practice English. However, Ambassador Aves surprised the children too, trying to answer some questions in Armenian.
