Armenian First President’s term, as political force, is over – analyst

YEREVAN. – We pay too much attention to the former presidents of Armenia, Regional Studies Center Director, political analyst Richard Giragosian said at a press conference on Tuesday.  

Giragosian reflected on First President Levon Ter-Petrosyan’s recent statement on Armenia-Russia relations.  

“Unfortunately, when we look at Levon Ter-Petrosyan’s statements, I must say that it is pretty sad because, in broad terms, it means and shows that former President Levon Ter-Petrosyan’s term, as a political force, is over. 

“And if we look at these latest pro-Russian statements, it clearly differs from the policy they conducted years ago,” Richard Giragosian maintained.
