Billboards saying “Armenian Genocide 1915. Truth will triumph” will be hung in Los Angeles starting this week, Asbarez reports. The initiative is sponsored by Los Angeles businessman Deepak Vasandani.

“While there are many Armenian Americans in Los Angeles, the Armenian Genocide is still unknown to many. This is a very effective way to make people aware that there is an issue and it compels them to look further into it,” said Ara Oshagan of the Genocide Project. A photo of the Genocide Project is used as part of the billboard message.
