National Intelligence Organization (MIT) issued no statement concerning information that it prevented military operation in Karabakh, Hurriyet Daily News reports. According to the source, official Ankara neither confirmed nor refuted the fact as well.

Earlier, one of the most influential Azerbaijani dailies Yeni Musavat made a scandalous assertion, saying that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev decided to launch a military operation in Karabakh after Protocols were signed last October, though MIT took certain measures and talked Aliyev out of doing it.
