YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Armenia has issued a statement on its Facebook account, and with respect to the claims that world-renowned French-Armenian singer, songwriter, actor, public activist, and diplomat Charles Aznavour had given an interview to Posta daily of Turkey.  

The statement noted that Aznavour had never given an interview to the Turkish newspaper and never accepted a Turkish award.  

Posta had published an interview stressing that it was with Charles Aznavour.

In this “interview,” the famous French-Armenian singer allegedly had made very controversial statements, which had caused quite a stir among the Armenian society.
