YEREVAN. – The President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, is thinking not solely about the parliamentary opposition’s twelve-point demands to the government, but about the stability of the country.  

Ruling Republican Party (RPA) Vice-Chairman and MP Razmik Zohrabyan stated the above-said at a press conference on Tuesday, commenting on the President’s recent recommendation to reconsider these twelve-point demands.   

“If there is turmoil in the country, this also will have an impact on relations with the EEU [i.e., the Eurasian Economic Union, which currently comprises Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan]; they likewise will not like the existing turmoil in our country.   

“There should be a mutual agreement on some issues. My personal opinion is that Russia may not like this turmoil, instability,” the RPA deputy chairman said, in particular. 

In Razmik Zohrabyan’s words, the ruling party has expressed its respective position in advance.
