YEREVAN. - The American national currency (USD) exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 415.30/$1 in Armenia on Tuesday, and this makes for an AMD 0.35 rise from the previous day.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 515.14 (down by AMD 2.88), that of one British pound was AMD 658.33 (down by AMD 1.69), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 8.93 (down by AMD 0.29), informed the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of silver, gold, and platinum amounted to AMD 209.23, AMD 15,515.26, and AMD 16,142.81, respectively.

Tuesday’s trading totaled USD 16.5 million at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 415/$1, and the trading session closed likewise at AMD 415/$1.
