YEREVAN. – The ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) will not convene an Executive session this week, RPA Organizational Issues Committee Chairman Ruben Tadevosyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Tadevosyan, however, did not give any specific reason why they will not be holding a meeting this week. But he added that the RPA Chairman—that is, President Serzh Sargsyan—calls and chairs these sessions.

The party will hold an Executive session next week.

Ruben Tadevosyan also informed that they have convened sixteen Executive and two Board meetings so far this year.

According to the party charter, the RPA must convene a Board meeting three times a year, which means they will hold one more such meeting by the year’s end.
