YEREVAN. – An international conference, entitled “Eurasian Prospects of Armenia: Regional and Global Challenges,” got underway Monday at Yerevan State University.
“Integration and Development” NGO Director Aram Safaryan noted that, unfortunately, political scientists from Belarus and Kazakhstan do not visit Armenia as often as their colleagues from Russia and, in this context, this conference will be a great opportunity to get familiarized with the views of these analysts, too.
Safaryan also expressed a conviction that once Armenia becomes a Eurasian Economic Union member on January 1, 2015, similar conferences will be organized more often, and this will enable to create an integrated information space.
