YEREVAN. – Each and every country should take part in integration processes. Yerevan State University constitutional law expert Vardan Ayvazyan stated the abovementioned at a press conference on Monday.

“When a country signs an international treaty within the globalization processes, it loses a part of its sovereignty,” Ayvazyan noted.

As for the query on whether or not the treaty on the Armenia’s planned accession to the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) is in conformity with the Constitution of the country, he stressed: “My view is as follows: No provision of the current Constitution of Armenia was violated.”

On November 14, the Constitutional Court of Armenia ruled that the treaty on EEU accession is in full conformity with the Constitution of the country.
