YEREVAN. – Deputy head of OSCE office in Yerevan William Hanlon met with member of Heritage party Davit Sanasaryan who commenced a hunger strike on Monday.

Sanasaryan said he will hold a hunger strike as a sign of protest to uncover the causes of the Armenian helicopter’s shooting at the Karabakh-Azerbaijan zone of contact (photo).

During the conversation, William Hanlon listened to the complaint of Davit Sanasaryan and said the Yerevan office cannot deal with the settlement of Karabakh conflict, according to its mandate, and another structure is engaged in the peace process.

“What we can do and will do is to convey your complaint to the relevant OSCE structures,” he said.
