YEREVAN. – All political forces consolidated around the draft bill on assistance to Armenia’s border villages, Deputy Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov said.
“We are happy to see that the deputies from different factions put aside their differences on other matters and managed to consolidate for the support to the necessary initiative. I think this approach will be preserved during the debates, and I am happy to see such a level of political culture,” he said.
The bill suggests partial reimbursements for natural gas, electricity, and irrigation water expenses of the residents of border villages.
