STEPANAKERT. – Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), or Artsakh, President Bako Sahakyan on Tuesday convened an enlarged consultation devoted to the 2014 budgetary process and the 2015 State Budget draft.

Minister of Finance and Economy Spartak Tevosyan and the heads of relevant agencies delivered respective reports, informed the Central Information Department of the Office of the NKR President.

In his remarks, Sahakyan noted that the Artsakh state budget was, has been, and will continue to be socially-oriented, and this requires a pursuit of the appropriate policy.

The President also stressed that he expects the state agencies to carry out a new quality of work in budget planning, and primarily in evaluating the efficiency of expenditures, reviewing their structure and providing projects that ensure a significant outcome for the society.

He added that the heads of the relevant agencies should prioritize a solution of key issues against the minor and temporary solutions.
