YEREVAN. - The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 434.11/$1 in Armenia on Wednesday, and this makes for an AMD-0.43 rise from the previous day.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 540.73 (up by AMD 1.54), that of one British pound was AMD 681.73 (up by AMD 1.72), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 9.27 (down by AMD 0.31), informed the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of silver, gold, and platinum amounted to AMD 232.52, AMD 16,734.39, and AMD 16,929.79, respectively.

Wednesday’s trading totaled USD 2.3 million at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange, and the transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 434/$1.
