YEREVAN. – All communists of the post-Soviet expanse fully support Eurasian integration.
Russian Federation State Duma member Kazbek Taysaev, who is also Assistant Secretary of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, stated the aforesaid at Saturday’s 39th Congress of the Communist Party of Armenia.
“We are very happy that Armenia is joining the [Russia-led] Eurasian Economic Union [EEU]. And we will try, by all possible means, to assist in this process,” Taysaev added.
Unified Communist Party of Georgia Chairman Temur Pipia, for his part, stressed that the majority of the people of Georgia supports the country’s EEU accession.
“[However,] the country’s pro-Western leadership is against it. But I’m convinced that this cannot go on for [a] long [time],” Pipia noted.
