The high quality products of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR; Artsakh) pave their road on the international market; and the major achievements by the Stepanakert Brandy Factory are a vivid illustration.

The factory’s Madatov brandy won the Best Brand award at the CUBAEXPO 2014 fair, which was held last month in Havana, the factory news service informed. In addition, its Berdashen wine won the silver medal, and the Madatov brandy was awarded gold medals at the 18th International Competition of Wines and Alcoholic Drinks, which was held in Russia.      

The Stepanakert Brandy Factory Yerevan Branch Manager, Ashot Martirosyan, particularly emphasized the fact that this success is one of the firm steps which, despite Azerbaijan’s attempts, contribute to raise the level of the NKR’s global acknowledgment because, in the modern world, the image of a country also depends on its economic competitiveness and the presence of its national products in the international market.
