YEREVAN. – The economic disputes within the boundaries of the Russia-led Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) will be examined in the EEU Court.
The Deputy Minister of Finance of Armenia, Suren Karayan, stated about the aforementioned at Tuesday’s National Assembly deliberations with respect to the ratification of the treaty on the country’s forthcoming EEU accession.
“Let me remind you that the Eurasian Union is a purely economic organization, where economic mechanisms function for the protection of the rights of businesses,” Karayan added.
As per the deputy minister, Armenia’s rights will be considered in the Eurasian Economic Commission, too.
Suren Karayan also stressed that the decisions, which are significantly related to best interests of at least one of the EEU-member countries, will be adopted by consensus.
