President of Russia Vladimir Putin submitted to the State Duma a draft law on the ratification of a treaty on Armenia's accession to the Eurasian Economic Union.
In particular, it is proposed to ratify the treaty as of May 29 which was signed in Minsk on 10 October 2014, Gazeta reported.
The purpose of Armenia's joining the Union is to remove barriers to the free movement of goods, services, capital and labor, and to carry out coordinated and unified policy in key sectors of the economy.
