YEREVAN. - The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 442.33/$1 in Armenia on Tuesday, and this makes for an AMD-7.07 rise from the previous day.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 549.95 (up by AMD 7.40), that of one British pound was AMD 694.68 (up by AMD 11.93), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 8.49 (up by AMD 0.17), informed the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of silver, gold, and platinum amounted to AMD 223.7, AMD 16,980.16, and AMD 17,179.26, respectively.

The NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange, however, saw no foreign currency trading on Tuesday.
