YEREVAN. - The inflation in Armenia is under control, announced in the Parliament Minister of international economic integration and reforms, Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Vache Gabrielyan, Armenian News - NEWS.am reports.
Gabrielyan noted that even taken into account the rise in price of goods in the last days, the inflation may not exceed 4%, as current inflation rate is 1.5% and it has a sufficient safety margin. He added that he talked about total inflation, not the inflation on the individual product groups.
“Even if all the likely price increase continues, the inflation will not exceed 4%, which means, it will remain in the target corridor of 4% (+/- 1.5%),” Armenian government member said.
