STEPANAKERT. – A growth in tension was again observed along the entire length of the Line of Contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces.

Accordingly, the adversary breached the truce around 200 times on Thursday and the early morning hours on Friday, the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Defense Army reported. During this time, more than 2,000 shots were fired in the direction of Armenian positions, and by way of different-caliber rifle weaponry.

As a result of the retaliatory actions by the Defense Army vanguard units, however, the adversary’s “activeness” at the frontlines was quelled, the NKR MOD press service informed.

The Armenian units confidently continue their military watch along the entire length of the Line of Contact.
