YEREVAN. – There is a slow war on the border, and defeat in this war is fraught with not only human losses, but losses of positions, spokesperson for Armenian Defense Ministry Artsrun Hovhannisyan said.

He said the situation had been tense since early January, and the Armenian side will suffer losses unless we prevent adversary’s actions.

Azerbaijani side has been intensively firing on Armenian village for several days. Levon Andreasyan, a 85-old-citizens of Movses village, was wounded, while 61-year-old Vanik Ghukasyan from Nerkin Karmiraghbyur village was killed as a result of ceasefire violation by Azerbaijan.
