YEREVAN. – The 51st Munich Security Conference kicked off Friday in the German city, and Armenia is represented at the event by Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian.

Within the framework of the conference, Nalbandian also met with OSCE Secretary General Lamberto Zannier, the Armenia MFA press service informed.

At the talk, they thoroughly discussed the latest developments in the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process. The interlocutors reflected on the continuous efforts by the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs, and to achieve a pacific resolution to this conflict.

Nalbandian and Zannier expressed concern by the recent tension, and underscored the measures that need to be taken to reduce tension in the region.

The meeting agenda the Armenian FM and the OSCE chief included various directions of the OSCE activities.

Edward Nalbandian and Lamberto Zannier also reflected on the activities and programs of the OSCE Office in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia.
