STEPANAKERT. – In accordance with the arrangement reached with the authorities of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), the OSCE Mission on Tuesday will conduct a planned monitoring of the Line of Contact between the armed forces of Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan.

The monitoring will be held in the eastern direction of the Seisulan settlement of the NKR Martakert region.

From the positions of the NKR Defense Army, the monitoring will be conducted by Yevgeny Sharov (Ukraine) and Khristo Khristov (Bulgaria), the Field Assistants of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, an by Office staff member Peter Svedberg (Sweden). 

The NKR authorities have expressed their readiness to assist in conducting the monitoring and to ensure the safety of the OSCE Mission members.
