YEREVAN. – The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 479.46/$1 in Armenia on Wednesday, which is up by AMD 0.62 from Tuesday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 542.76 (up by AMD 2.43), that of one British pound was AMD 733.35 (up by AMD 5.26), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 7.26 (down by AMD 0.05), informed the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of silver, gold, and platinum amounted to AMD 261.26, AMD 19,067.18, and AMD 18,705.39, respectively.

Wednesday’s trading totaled USD 750,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange, and the transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 480/$1.
