YEREVAN. – Armenia-U.S cooperation in legal field was discussed by Armenian Justice Minister Hovhannes Manukyan and Charge D’affaires of U.S. Embassy Clark Price during their meeting on Wednesday.

Minister Manukyan highly appreciated the level of cooperation with the government of the United States, stressing the importance of continuing cooperation in the field of judicial and legal reforms.

The interlocutors discussed a number of issues related to justice sector, in particular modernization of the penal system, the development of electronic control systems, retraining of judges. The sides noted the positive results of the Armenian-American efforts in the legal sphere.
