YEREVAN. – President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, who is also Chairman of the National Security Council (NSC), has called an NSC meeting for Friday evening. Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned about the above-said from the Press Office of the President.

To note, during Thursday’s meeting of the board of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), President Sargsyan, who is also Chairman of the RPA Board, had specifically stated: “The unverified news about establishing a mechanism for concealing, in a professional manner, numerous criminal offenses, continues to remain suspended in the air. I will invite a Security Council meeting tomorrow, where there will be an appropriate reflection with our law enforcement, as to how to deal with this kind of news.”
