YEREVAN. – The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 478.91/$1 in Armenia on Friday, which is down by AMD 0.14 from Thursday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 547.30 (up by AMD 4.01), that of one British pound was AMD 737.14 (up by AMD 7.31), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 7.39 (down by AMD 0.01), informed the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of silver, gold, and platinum amounted to AMD 260.06, AMD 18,847.97, and AMD 18,482.18, respectively.

Friday’s trading totaled USD 1,250,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 479.25/$1, and the trading session closed likewise at AMD 479.25/$1.
