Georgia's attorney general's office has filed a petition to Ukraine asking for extradition of former Georgian president Mikheil Saakashvili.
The Georgian side said charges were brought against ex-president and filed a petition on arrest and extradition of former leader, Novosti Gruziya reported.
However, despite having an agreement on extradition signed between the countries, Ukrainian side rejected cooperation with Georgia on the extradition of Mikheil Saakashvili, 112.ua reported.
