YEREVAN. – The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 479.48/$1 in Armenia on Wednesday; this is up by AMD 0.42 from Tuesday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 546.13 (up by AMD 0.86), that of one British pound was AMD 740.03 (up by AMD 3.90), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 7.67 (up by AMD 0.03), informed the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia.

One gram of silver, gold, and platinum amounted to AMD 259.29, AMD 18,645.21, and AMD 18,375.44, respectively.

Wednesday’s trading totaled USD 100,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange, and the transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 479.26/$1.
