YEREVAN. – Armenian National Assembly (NA) Speaker Galust Sahakyan announced, at the start of Tuesday’s parliament session, that the NA Audit Committee had convened a meeting, at which time it selected its new chairman and secretary.

As a result, ruling Republican Party of Armenia NA Faction member Sukias Avetisyan and opposition Heritage Party NA Faction Secretary Tevan Poghosyan were elected Chairman and Secretary, respectively, of the NA Audit Committee.

Sahakyan also informed that non-pro-government Prosperous Armenia Party NA Faction member Davit Kocharyan has left the faction, and in accordance with his respective letter petition.
