YEREVAN. – Speaker of the Armenian parliament Galust Sahakyan chaired consultations on preparation for the events marking the Armenian Genocide Centennial.

The members of parliament and representatives of parliament's staff participated in the meeting held on Friday. 

Vigen Sargsyan, Chief of Staff of the President, Coordinator of the Events Dedicated to the Armenian Genocide Centennial, delivered a report. He briefed the MPs on the goals of the coordination committee, problems and future activities, timetable and program of the events that will be held in Armenia and abroad.

The participants exchanged views and proposals related to organization of the events.
