STEPANAKERT. – In connection with the 27th anniversary of the Sumgait pogroms, Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR; Artsakh) President Bako Sahakyan visited the Stepanakert Memorial on Saturday and placed flowers to the monument of the innocent victims.

Sahakyan was accompanied by Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, who is Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, and several senior officials of Artsakh, Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned the above-said from the Central Information Department of the Office of the NKR President.
