YEREVAN. – The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 479.51/$1 in Armenia on Monday; this is down by AMD 0.08 from the previous day.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 522.19 (down by AMD 3.87), that of one British pound was AMD 724.59 (down by AMD 4.53), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 7.89 (down by AMD 0.15), informed the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia.

One gram of silver, gold, and platinum amounted to AMD 249.64, AMD 18,126.07, and AMD 18,287.14, respectively.

Monday’s trading totaled USD 100,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 481/$1, and the trading session closed likewise at AMD 481/$1.
