YEREVAN. – The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 480.38/$1 in Armenia on Tuesday; this is up by AMD 0.87 from Monday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 516.41 (down by AMD 5.78), that of one British pound was AMD 722.88 (down by AMD 1.71), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 7.92 (up by AMD 0.03), informed the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia.

One gram of silver, gold, and platinum amounted to AMD 245.88, AMD 18,046.98, and AMD 17,792.15, respectively.

Tuesday’s trading totaled USD 1.5 million at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 482.94/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 483/$1.
