Belarus stands ready to host the Nagorno-Karabakh peace talks.

Belarus Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei stated the abovementioned at his meeting with OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs Pierre Andrieu (France), Igor Popov (Russia) and James Warlick (USA), and Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office on Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk.

BELTA news agency of Belarus reported the aforesaid citing the Belarus MFA statement.

“Belarus strongly supports the OSCE efforts aimed at regional security and stability, [and] the attempts to find peaceful solutions to the existing and frozen conflicts, including the Karabakh conflict,” Makei had noted.

He added that Belarus shares the Minsk Group vision on the avenues for the settlement of this conflict.

“The Belarusian side fully agrees that the primary issue at this phase is the reduction of tension on the Line of Contact,” Vladimir Makei said. “Moreover, Belarus welcomes the frequency of contacts between the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan.”
