Armenian National Assembly (NA) Vice President Eduard Sharmazanov, who also heads the NA Armenia-Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia Parliamentary Friendship Group, on Thursday visited Haapsalu, Estonia, and met with the children of the local orphanage and handed them presents.
In addition, Sharmazanov laid a wreath at the cross-stone erected in 2014 to the memory of Estonian missionary Anna Hedvig Büll, who had devoted her life to saving the Armenians of the Middle East from the Armenian Genocide.
On the same day, the NA deputy chairman attended a concert, entitled “With You, Armenia,” dedicated to the Armenian Genocide Centennial at the St. John’s Church of the Estonian capital city of Tallinn, to which Vice President Laine Randjärv of the Parliament and Environment Minister Mati Raidma of Estonia were also invited.
Vice President Eduard Sharmazanov of the Armenian parliament also visited the St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Apostolic Church of Tallinn.
