YEREVAN. – The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) was AMD 481.28/$1 in Armenia on Friday; this is down by AMD 0.47 from Thursday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 510.54 (up by AMD 0.13), that of one British pound was AMD 714.41 (down by AMD 7.49), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 7.83 (down by AMD 0.10), informed the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia.

One gram of silver, gold, and platinum amounted to AMD 242.62, AMD 17,829.35, and AMD 17,299.38, respectively.

Friday’s trading totaled USD 1,600,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 481/$1, and the trading session closed likewise at AMD 481/$1.
