YEREVAN. – Several Azerbaijani media outlets continue spreading misinformation having nothing in common with reality, the Armenian Defense Ministry said in statement.

“Moreover, falsification that has nothing to do with the reality sometimes turns into a fun fact, when Azerbaijani propaganda attributes to the Armenian side the methods of concealment of incidents on the contact line and the distortion of the facts that are used by Baku.

It is ridiculous that similar lies are sometimes spread by the local media.

The Armenian Defense Ministry reiterates the increase in tension on the contact line is the result of an adventurous policy of military and political leadership of Azerbaijan which leads to tangible losses primarily in the Azerbaijani army. The Armenian side strictly observes the ceasefire and resorts to adequate steps only in the case of willful targeted violations by the adversary,” the statement reads.
