No one can accuse Armenia of not fulfilling the obligations it has assumed.

President Serzh Sargsyan stated the aforementioned speaking to the “Opinion” program on Russia-24, a state-owned TV news channel in Russia.

Responding to the query on whether Russia could hope for the assistance and support of its close neighbors and partners, the President noted that he considers this question to be rhetorical. “Since if we are members of unions, we also assume obligations,” Sargsyan stressed.

The Armenian President added that aside from the centuries-old relations that exist with Russia and the Russian people, obligations are also set out in the documents.

“I believe that, until now, no one can bring any example when we have tried to evade our direct obligations,” Serzh Sargsyan stated.
