YEREVAN. – An Armenian delegation, led by Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan, will pay a working visit to Austria from Wednesday to Friday.

On the first day of the trip, Ashotyan will meet with Gabriele Heinisch-Hosek, Austrian Federal Minister for Education, Arts and Culture, informed the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science of Armenia. In addition, the two ministries will sign a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the domain of education.

On the second day of the visit, Minister Ashotyan will meet with Bernadette Gierlinger, Section Chief in the Austrian Federal Ministry of Research, Science and Economy, and Co-Chair of the Armenian-Austrian Commission on Trade-Economic and Scientific-Technical Cooperation; and Elmar Pichl, Director General of the Austrian Federal Ministry for Science, Research and Economy. 

Along the lines of the visit to Austria, Armen Ashotyan is also scheduled to deliver remarks at an event to mark the 125th birth and 70th death anniversaries of renowned Austrian writer and humanist Franz Werfel.
