YEREVAN. – Extensive reconstruction work is carried out at the Yerevan Zoo in Armenia’s capital city.

The Mayor of Yerevan, Taron Margaryan, paid a working visit to the zoo and got familiarized with the ongoing construction there, and which is carried out through the community budget.

Extensive reconstruction is carried out for the first time at Yerevan Zoo, which was built in Armenia’s capital city back in the 1940s.

First, Margaryan visited the construction site of the new veterinary clinic being built. Next, he toured the entire zoo.

Yerevan Zoo Director Ruben Khachatryan noted that, after reconstruction, the zoo will “present” itself to its visitors with a completely new and modern look and comfortable conditions.

Taron Margaryan instructed the persons in charge to keep the reconstruction work under daily check, and have it completed within the time specified.
