YEREVAN. – Speculations about restrictions of freedom of speech in today's Armenia are ridiculous, Speaker Galust Sahakyan said.

The media outlets are doing their best to spread any statement made by the opposition political forces, he argues.

“Everything is done for this. See our air - statements of opposition leaders are generously presented to the society. Therefore, such speculations can not be considered valid with any justifications. Armenia is a country of freedom of speech, and the party in power is not preventing this,” Sahakyan said in parliament on Thursday.
